Palma airport will be flying high this summer handling aircraft with a capacity for more than 31 million passengers. According to the airport there will be more flights than in 2019, before the pandemic struck.
British and German tour firms are programming more flights using even bigger aircraft. A large number of hotels have already started to open on the islnd.
The travel industry says that 2022 will be the year of recovery.
