The Balearic Ministry for Health announced 718 new cases of Covid in the Balearics in the last 24 hours. A total of 551 cases were announced on Monday.
One death was also reported and there are now 50 people suffering from Covid in intensive care units in local hospitals. The recent rise in the number of cases is putting local hospitals under pressure.
The Balearic government is not planning to introduce any new restrictions.
