The body of a man has been found on the beach at Es Caragol in Colònia de Sant Jordi.
Three people who were walking on the beach on Tuesday afternoon notified the Guardia Civil after finding the body floating close to the shoreline.
Officers who were deployed to the scene say the body is in an advanced state of decomposition. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
